METAL STAMPING PROJECT: Alphabet necklace
One of my accessory projects for myself had utilized my metal stamping hobby. I guess I indeed love letters, so I created an alphabet necklace.
Using my metal disc cutter, I punched through a 24 gauge aluminum sheet with the 7/16" punch. Even though I would only be using three discs (A, B, C), I went ahead and punched some extra circles because I know I was prone to getting the first stamps wrong. Indeed, I made an error on my first few stamps.
I made a hole on top of the discs with my metal puncher. After getting a decent A, B, and C, I finished it off by inking the depressed areas of the hand-stamped metal.
With a silver-plated chain, jump rings, and q-lock, my alphabet necklace was complete. Teehee.

ReplyDeleteHi, Malu! Glad you like it. I purchased my metal disc cutter from an ebay supplier, specifically from "bestjewelrysupply". :)
