Three years of missing Komikon and now I am back. :D Summer Komikon 2016 held last April 16 at Bayanihan Center brought a bit of nostalgic feeling. I may not be as enthusiastic as before but it was really great seeing familiar comic titles as well as their creators. And the first title I grabbed, which I really could not resist, was Crime-Fighting Call Center Agents by Noel Pascual and AJ Bernardo. I had to grab issues 4-6. I could not leave the halls of Bayanihan Center without having these three issues.
I was not sure if I really wanted to write about Mythspace, but I wanted to document the steps I take in going back to comics. So after going through Stories from the Diabolical (back to comics #1) from the Trese series by Budjette and Kajo, I had Mythspace (Chikiamco, et al) next in my list.
I had a copy of Lift Off (Chikiamco and Carreon) and Uncommon Ground (Chikiamco and Dimagiba), which I got from Komikon 2013. I remember back then that my comics buddies were so excited about it that was why I decided to grab a copy as well to see what they had been enthusiastic about. After one and a half years, I finally set my eyes inside the pages of Mythspace.
I finally got to read the third issue of Crime-Fighting Call Center Agents, created by Noel Pascual and AJ Bernardo, which I even asked one of my comics buddy to purchase a copy for me from its launch at the Ayala Musuem last Nov. 15, 2012 since I couldn't make it to the event. Oh, as I've said last time, it really is a good read.
Crime-Fighting Call Center Agents by Noel Pascual and AJ Bernardo, all I can say is that it is one heck of a GOOD READ.
so READ IT GUYS!!!! :)
